Akashvani Radio & G.L. Public School Outreach
AOS extended Agra Moves Better - 2026 through two complementary public-awareness formats: an Akashvani radio interaction on bone, joint, posture and healthy-living awareness, and a student-focused posture, movement, exercise and healthy-habits session at G.L. Public School. The shared message was correct movement, regular activity and healthy daily habits across age groups.
Community Bone-Health Screening & Awareness Outreach
AOS continued Agra Moves Better - 2026 with community-based bone-health screening, counselling and practical awareness with Shri Maheshwari Mahila Mandal, Lions Club Sparkle Surbhi and Inner Wheel Club of Agra Midtown. The record documents 58 BMD screening registrations and public messages on strong bones, posture, safe movement and fall prevention, while patient-identifying registers remain private.
National Bone & Joint Day Police Workplace Ergonomics Programme
AOS carried the Agra Moves Better - 2026 campaign to Agra Police with a Fit Police, Strong Spine message. The programme focused on CPR awareness, police workplace ergonomics, posture during duty, duty-break stretching, safe movement, and formal police participation in the campaign.
Agra Moves Better Media Awareness & BMD Screening Record
The 3 August campaign record documented public-health messaging through supplied Hindi print coverage on road trauma, police occupational musculoskeletal health and early joint-care, alongside hospital-based BMD screening through two deployed machines at multiple hospitals in Agra.
Agra Moves Better Police Wellness & Family Health Camp
AOS organised a preventive bone, joint, muscle and nerve-health camp for police personnel and family members at Police Lines, Agra. The activity included BMD screening, selected Vitamin-D testing, neurological assessment, orthopaedic consultation, report review and counselling on posture, exercise, nutrition and safe screen use.
Agra Moves Better 2026 Launch and Founding Partners Meet
AOS formally launched Agra Moves Better - 2026 with a Media, NGO and Founding Partners' Meet, inviting collaboration for a month-long city awareness campaign around safer movement, stronger bones and healthier communities.
General Body Meeting & Scientific Programme
AOS held its General Body Meeting cum Scientific Meeting with 36 members present as per the signed attendance register. The scientific session included an industry-supported academic presentation by Dr Yogesh Bindal, a How I Do It session on BDSF in femoral neck fractures by Dr Ashok Vij, and case presentations by Dr Amit Agarwal and Dr Rajiv Goyal. Society business covered confirmation of previous minutes, Secretary's report, continuation of the interactive scientific format, AOS Digital Directory and Member Activity documentation, Bone & Joint Month / Agra Moves Better - 2026, website and social media documentation, Treasurer's report, Constitution Review progress, meeting frequency, IOACON 2028 planning and upcoming academic activity.

A focused invited-member academic and planning meeting for AOS scientific, executive, and committee-linked work. The Core Planning & Advisory Group roster is recorded on the Committees page so members can see the advisory structure clearly.
Executive Committee Meeting with Academic Session
The Executive Committee reviewed recent academic programmes, website and administrative work, constitution review, future collaborations, Bone & Joint Week planning, and future academic activity, preceded by a short academic presentation on micro-minerals and bone matrix strength.
First Inter-College PG Paper Presentation Competition
AOS organised an inter-college postgraduate paper presentation competition at FH Medical College, Agra, with 20 postgraduate participants from KD Medical College Mathura, K. M. Medical College Mathura, SN Medical College Agra, ASMC Medical College Firozabad, and host FH Medical College Agra. The presentations were judged by eminent faculty including Dr Sanjay Dhawan, Dr Atul Kulshreshtha, President AOS, and Dr Sanjay Chaturvedi, Secretary AOS.
International Faculty Meet on Osteoporosis, Sarcopenia & Osteosarcopenia
AOS hosted an international faculty meet on fragility fracture care, osteoporosis, sarcopenia, and osteosarcopenia, with UK faculty interaction, case-based discussion, IOA guidance, and member participation.
First General Body Meeting cum Scientific Meeting
AOS held its first GBM cum scientific meeting of the new cabinet, with academic presentations on neuropathic pain, closed humerus nailing, recurrent shoulder dislocation and Hoffa's fracture, followed by official society agenda and planning discussion.
International Yoga Day Programme
AOS invited members and families for a health-focused Yoga Day session on the theme One Earth, One Health, One Future, with guided participation and fellowship.
First Academic Journal Club cum Extended Executive Meeting
The first formal meeting of the new AOS cabinet combined an academic session on Vitamin D3 in osteoarthritis with structured discussion on records, renewal, compliance, website, member directory, committees and the academic calendar.
World Clubfoot Day Awareness Meet
AOS organised an inter-specialty public-awareness meeting on antenatal detection, counselling, early referral and correct treatment of clubfoot, emphasising that early care can prevent lifelong disability.
Installation Ceremony of Office Bearers 2026-27
The new AOS office bearers for 2026-27 were installed, marking the formal start of the current society term and its academic, governance and public-awareness work.
